CIBV Cataphract Plate Carrier [Templar's Gear]

CIBV Cataphract is an advanced plate carrier manufactured from original textiles in the PALS/Molle system, designed to carry armor plates, soft ballistic panels, and necessary equipment.

Cataphract offers improved shrapnel protection thanks to multiple pockets for soft armor panels - the enlarged front panel secures the side torso and stomach area, and the rear panel increases the safety of the back. Broaden cummerbunds overlap with both panels for side torso protection, and an additional collar secures the shoulder and neck area.

The base is sewn from an IRR-treated 500D Cordura laminate with COOLMAX-lined comfort pads, 3D-mesh reinforced webbing and threads, and ROC buckles. The front is fitted with six rows of laser-cut PALS slots for simple attachment of stand-alone pouches. Additional Velcro panels and Fastex buckles allow quick installation of pre-configured flaps.

Reworked cummerbunds with ROC closings offer an increased surface for attaching necessary gear. Integrated pockets hold soft armor panels for shrapnel and low-velocity projectiles. They are also interchangeable with other models manufactured by TG and similar analogs.

The rear part of the vest is outfitted with numerous PALS slots for attaching backpacks, bags, or extra pouches. A snag-free design does not interfere with using rucksacks and shoulder straps. An emergency grab handle on top helps during emergencies in the field.

The padded shoulder straps with pockets for ballistic panels provide an enlarged contact surface that decreases strain and increases comfort during prolonged use. The front and back are covered inside with a soft 3D mesh for extra comfort, improved air circulation, and better fit to the body. They also accept 250 x 300 SAPI and ESAPI plates as well as similarly-shaped analogs.
