ELAK12 Essential [E&L]

ELAK12, a member of the "Essential" line manufactured by E&L, is one of the most detailed and realistically made AK12 replicas on the market. ELAK12 is a modernized variant of the AK-74MN rifle - a full-sized model with a collapsible folding stock. It is ideally suited for CQB, close- and mid-distance games, and operations. This 690/950mm long replica is fed from a modernized polymer magazine and shoots in a single and full-automatic mode.
Main elements like the body, outer barrel, dust cover, gas block, sight block, gas tube, iron sights, and other small components are machined from steel. The only parts made from the polymers are the pistol grip, magazine, handguard with gas tube cover, and stock.
Like the original, the replica's body is fabricated from stamped steel for superb resistance to wear and damage. It is furtherly covered in an anti-corrosion coating. The steel, Picatinny-railed dust cover is connected to the gas block and secured with a spring-loaded push-button. It allows the attachment of various sights and optical devices.
At the front, we can find a modernized polymer handguard with finger swells on the sides for a firm grip and comfortable handling. The handguard and the gas tube cover are fitted with standard Picatinny rails for attaching grips, light amplification modules, and/or other gear suitable to preferences or requirements.
The solid, collapsible, and side folding stock is comfortable and adjustable in length. It is easy to fold, handle in confined spaces, and simple to stash.
The new AK12-pattern iron sights consist of the adjustable front sight pole placed on the gas block and a rear sight aperture attached to the rail on the dust cover. This technical choice increases the aiming axis of the replica. The rear sight uses an adjustable, notched tangent with 0–800-meter elevation scaling, a 100-meter increment, and windage correction.
The heart of the replica is a V3-type gearbox with a quick spring change and an ultra-compact MOSFET. V3 also has a steel cylinder, a high-speed electric motor, and a full metal hop-up chamber. All of the above translates to optimal performance out of the box and a good base for further tuning.
