Pistol GNB Socom MK23 [Marui]

Marui presents a replica of a classic SOCOM 23 manufactured by an equally acclaimed company - Japanese Tokyo Marui. It is an exclusive version - a solid, polymer briefcase contains, aside from the replica itself and a magazine, a SOCOM silencer and a dedicated LAM (Laser Aiming Module) with functional flashlight.
Like most of Tokyo Marui sidearms, SOCOM 23 too has been mostly made from high-quality polymer. Metal outer barrel, magazine, attached silencer and a trigger as well as all manipulators (e.g. safety). Both the body and the lock of the pistol are made from polymer. 

At the back of the body is a double-sided lock safety. On the left side was placed the trigger safety. A universal 22mm mounting rail is located under the barrel, on which is mounted the earlier mentioned LAM with a white flashlight and a red LED light imitating laser sight. The module is powered by 3 AAA batteries (not included in the set).

This is a “Fixed Slide” replica, which means that there is no blow-back system. However, because of that fact it is more efficient when it comes to gas usage and allows for more shots before depleting a gas charge. Gas replicas by Tokyo Marui have been for years credited for their superb dependability and perfect craftsmanship of internal parts. As a result, one does not need to consider oneselft with the performance of the replica or the operation of its Hop-Up system. It is a class of its own. Access to the Hop-Up mechanism is gained after removal of the slide - an operation lasting mere seconds.

The replica features a metal magazine, which next to the Green Gas tank stores 23 BBs.
