AEG RRA SA-E03 EDGE 2.0 Black [Specna Arms]

The Specna Arms SA-E03 Edge 2.0 is another fantastic replica in what is quickly becoming our favourite line of AEGs to ever hit the market. Specna pride themselves on their external build quality, packaging excellent internal parts as a minimum and bringing their products to market at a sensible and realistic price point vs. others. The external build is a gorgeous blend of Zinc, Aluminium, Steel and other Alloys to create one of the most realistic and robust replicas about. The metal work has been Nano Coated to prevent scratching and will protect it's finish longer and better than standard untreated AEGs. The Polymers wherever used (Pistol Grip, Stock and Rail Covers) are high density Polymers which feel much better than your standard tacky plastic you would see elsewhere.

The front of the rifle features a 14mm CCW thread which will allow you to attach suppressors / tracer units once the birdcage flash hider is removed; perfect for those who are trying to achieve a 'Special Forces' look, or would like to extend the inner barrel and need a way of covering the excess barrel. The handguard is the traditional four-point M4A4 20mm setup which is highly identifiable as the "OG M4", and features plenty of rail space for your accessories. The upper receiver has a 20mm rail which is ready for optics and sights, but comes with a rear flip-up ironsight to be used in-conjunction with the built-in front sight. There are two QD sling sockets on the stock for the quick installation of sling loops to facilitate any kind of sling setup. At the rear of the replica is an Ambidextrous Sling Plate which allows for the connection of a sling from either side of the weapon; a very useful component for left handed players who would normally not be catered for. The six-position collapsible Crane Stock is where the battery is housed, and has a Mini-Tamiya connector ready to accept 9.6v NiMHs or a 7.4v LiPo. We personally recommend a 11.1 LiPo. To access the battery compartment, simply squeeze the two tabs holding the rubberised butt pad in place, which will remove and reveal the battery space behind.

Internally, this Gun has a huge range of features that make it a prime choice over other models in its' price range. The first of many uprated components is a 6.03mm Precision Inner Barrel, and a Rotary HOP Unit for fine control over your BB's backspin, allowing for an increase in range and consistency (when using the right BBs and settings). The HOP Unit has a Helium™ Flat HOP Bucking which interacts very evenly with the BB, and makes for excellent and stable lift. As with any premium Specna Model, you have the ORION Gearbox inside, with the updated ESA2™ Quick Change Spring System that allows for rapid Main Spring changes from the Buffer Tube, without having to remove or disassemble the Gearbox. The ORION Gearbox also features, a lightweight Polymer Piston with a Full Steel Rack, double-sealed Piston Head with Bearings, Air-Sealed Nozzle, Double Sealed Cylinder Head, Spring Guide on Bearings, a set of Steel Gears and 8mm Bearings. This is an impressive list, but it doesn't end there...

The main party trick of the Specna Arms SA-E03 Edge 2.0 is the GATE ASTER™ MOSFET, which is a massive step above the GATE X-ASR Module that was included with the previous models. The ASTER™ provides amazing features such as 'Polarity Inversion Protection', which prevents damage from mis-use of Batteries. An Optical Sensor makes for an incredible Trigger Pull (the smallest twitch will fire the Gun, which is great for long-term endurance). The Trigger can also be set to one of 250 sensitivity settings!  This Trigger is paired with the Solar™ Electronic Trigger which has a very pleasant travel and pull, and will take your skirmish-performance to another level. The ASTER™ interacts with the GATE Control Station Application, allowing you to modify your Gun from the comfort of a device or computer, and a handy RGD LED Diode system makes for simply programming. If you want to perform advanced programming, you'll need the GATE USB-Link for full control over the ASTER™ MOSFET.

Special Instructions:

The externals of the replica are metal where they would be on the real world gun. This includes things like the outer barrel, handguard, and receiver. If a real world gun has polymer parts then the gun will still be marked as full metal externals, examples of this would be an M4, where the Stock and Pistol grip are always made from Polymer.
